Abstract
Krivotvoreni i lažirani farmaceutski proizvodi, ponajprije lijekovi, predstavljaju rizik za javno zdravlje. Tehnološka zaštita kao što je serijalizacija čini se kao najbolji način sprječavanja ovog problema. Kako bi se smanjilo širenje krivotvorenih lijekova u Europi, EU je donijela dvije borbe s ciljem sprječavanja krivotvorenja i lažiranja lijekova. Ovi se propisi primjenjuju na proizvođače, distributere, logistiku i ljekarne. Serijalizacija predstavlja dodjeljivanje jedinstvenog serijskog broja svakom proizvodu koji se prodaje na recept, a koji je povezan s informacijama o porijeklu proizvoda, broju serije i roku valjanosti. Proizvodi se mogu pratiti tijekom distribucijskog lanca preko lokalnih podatkovnih centara. Serijalizacija generira mnogo podataka koji moraju biti spremljeni u sigurnu i pouzdanu bazu podataka. Baze podataka koriste tehnologiju serijalizacije u oblaku kao što je Microsoft Azure, moćna cjenovno niska platforma za neograničeno pohranjivanje podataka, dostupno bilo kada i bilo gdje.
Abstract (english)
Counterfeit and falsified pharmaceutical products, especially drugs, present a global public health risk. Technological protection like serialization seems to be the best way to prevent this problem. To reduce the proliferation of counterfeit drugs in Europe, the EU declared two directives to prevent counterfeit and falsification of drugs. These regulations apply to producers, wholesale distributors, dispensers, logistics providers and pharmacies. Serialization presents assigning of a unique serial number to each saleable unit of each prescription product, which is linked to information about the product’s origin, batch number and expiration date. The units can be tracked through its entire supply chain through local data centers. Serialization generate a lot of data which need to be stored in secure and trustworthy data storage. These storages use Cloud serialization technologies as Microsoft Azure which is powerful platform for unlimited low-cost data storage, accessible anytime and anywhere.
