The aim of this paper is to analyze and compare the activities and organizational structures of different taekwondo organizations. There are several global organizations that practice some form or style of taekwondo. Due to the similarity in nomenclature and the overlapping of geographical areas where various taekwondo organizations (or factions) claim jurisdictional rights and have their branches and branches, it is often difficult for the public to understand the internal structure of these organizations, their mutual relations and relations with other international and national political and non-political organizations.The global taekwondo organizations chosen to be the focus of this work are the two most influential and longest-standing: the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and World Taekwondo (WT) and analogously the umbrella organizations at the continental and national levels that are afiliated to them. In addition to the analysis and comparison of ITF and WT at the global level, the same was done with their branches at the continental level (EITF and ETU) and at the national level. After looking at the historical context and the comparison of the structures and relationships of umbrella taekwondo organizations on several levels, it was concluded that the biggest causes of the current global disunity of Taekwondo were the initial disagreements of key persons who worked on the unification of Korean martial arts in the 1960s, and the intricacies of politics and legal provisions at the national level in some countries, which weakens national organizations and makes their work more difficult.
