Abstract
U ovom radu provedeno je ispitivanje pucolanske aktivnosti industrijskog portland cementa, CEM I 42,5 R uz dodatak otpadnog ambalažnog stakla različite finoće mliva (<45 µm, 125-250 µm i 250-500 µm). Kemijski sastav portland cementa određuje se pomoću EDXRF uređaja. Pripremljeno je 6 uzoraka uz dodatak otpadnog ambalažnog stakla različite finoće mliva. Uzorci su se termostatirali 8 dana pri 40 °C. Nakon njihovog termostatiranja, svaki uzorak se profiltrira kroz Büchnerov lijevak te se tako odvoji tekuća faza od krute. Titracijom uzoraka s HCl-om i EDTA odredi se ukupni alkalitet i koncentracija CaO u vodenoj otopini iznad uzorka. Rezultati ispitivanja potvrdili su pucolansku aktivnost uzoraka s finoćom mliva <45 µm i 125-250 µm jer se eksperimentalne točke nalaze ispod krivulje zasićenja u dijagramu izotermne topljivosti kalcijeva hidroksida. Uzorak s frakcijom 250-500 µm nije pokazao pucolansku aktivnost jer se eksperimentalne točke nalaze iznad dane krivulje. Rezultati ovoga rada su potvrdili mogućnost primjene otpadnog ambalažnog stakla finoće mliva < 45 µm i 125-250 µm kao zamjenskog dodatka portland cementu.
Abstract (english)
In this study pozzalanic activity of the industrial Portland cement CEM I 42,5 R with the addition of waste container glass with different fineness of grind (<45 µm, 125-250 µm i 250-500 µm). The chemical composition of portland cement is determined by the EDXRF device. Six samples were prepared with the addition of waste container glass with different fineness of grind. Samples were thermostated for 8 days at 40 °C. After their thermostation, each sample was filtered through a Büchner funnel and the solid phase was separated. Total alkalinity and CaO concentration of samples is determines by titration with CaO and EDTA in the aqueous solution above the sample. The test results confirmed the pozzalanic activity of samples with fineness of grind <45 μm and 125-250 μm since the experimental points are below the saturation curve in the isothermal solubility graph of calcium hydroxide. The 250-500 μm sample did not confirm the pozzalanic activity because the experimental points are above the curve. The results of this study confirmed the possibility of using of waste container glass with fineness of grind <45 µm and 125-250 µm as a replacement addition for portland cement.
