Abstract
Rad se bavi definicijom Crohnove bolesti, podjelama i vrstama bolesti, uključujući patogenezu i etiologiju te mogućnosti liječenja i nutritivne terapije. Dan je kratak pregled istraživanja vezanih za genetske i okolišne faktore aktivacije i napretka bolesti. Proučava trenutno korištene lijekove i njihov utjecaj na pacijente. Budući da se radi o bolesti probavnog sustava, naglašena je uloga prehrane kao potpore terapije lijekovima, ali i kao način očuvanja optimalnog nutritivnog statusa pacijenta.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes general definition of Crohn's disease, types and classification of disease considering pathogenesis and etiology and possible treatments and nutritive therapy. It gives a review of studies associated with genetic and environmental factors of disease activation. It also examines currently used medicaments and its effects on patients. Since Crohn’s disease effects digestive system, the role of nutrition is emphasized as a support to medicament treatment but also as a way of securing optimal nutrition status in patients.
