Abstract	Cilj ovog rada je prikazati pokazatelje uspješnosti konvencionalne i ekološke proizvodnje kukuruza na OPG-u Dragan Čolaković iz Šaga koji obrađuje 240 ha oranične površine. Prikazan je značaj kukuruza i njegova uloga te je prikazana tehnologija proizvodnje kroz agrotehničke zahvate. Uz pšenicu i rižu, kukuruz je najzastupljenija žitarica na svjetskim oranicama te sirovinska osnova za 1000 industrijskih proizvoda. U praktičnom dijelu rada korišteni su interni podatci vezani za konvencionalnu i ekološku proizvodnju kukuruza za 2017. godinu. Na osnovu prikupljenih podataka napravljene su analitičke kalkulacije proizvodnje kukuruza. Temeljem kalkulacija izračunati su apsolutni i relativni ekonomski pokazatelji uspješnosti. Pokazatelji govore da su obje proizvodnje u 2017. godini bile ekonomski opravdane.
Abstract (english)	The aim of this paper is to show the indicators of the success of conventional and ecological production of maize on the OPG Dragan Čolaković from Šag, which handles 240 ha of horticultural surfaces. The significance of maize and its role is presented and the technology of production is presented through agrotechnical procedures. With wheat and rice, maize is the most widely used grain on world markets and a raw material for 1000 industrial products. In the practical part of the work, internal data on conventional and ecological corn production for 2017 were used. Based on the collected data, the analytical calculations of maize production were made. Based on the calculation, absolute and relative economic performance indicators are calculated. Indicators say that both production in 2017 was economically justified
