Abstract
Diplomski rad Generacijsko poduzetništvo u poljoprivredi analizira ključne izazove i faktore koji utječu na prijenos obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava između generacija. Fokus je na ulozi generacijskog poduzetništva u očuvanju ruralnih zajednica, tradicije i ekonomskog razvoja. Rad istražuje financijske prepreke, nedostatak obrazovanja i stručnog osposobljavanja, te migraciju mladih kao glavne izazove s kojima se suočavaju mladi poljoprivrednici. Posebna pažnja posvećena je utjecaju vanjskih faktora, poput promjenjivih tržišnih uvjeta i klimatskih promjena, te važnosti kontinuirane edukacije, pravnog planiranja i primjene novih tehnologija za uspješan prijenos poslovanja. Rad također naglašava potrebu za zadržavanjem mladih u ruralnim područjima kako bi se osigurala dugoročna održivost poljoprivrednog sektora. Zaključno, rad pruža preporuke za unaprjeđenje praksi generacijskog poduzetništva, ističući važnost podrške obiteljskim gospodarstvima u suočavanju s izazovima i osiguravanju njihovog kontinuiteta i prosperiteta.
Abstract (english)
Masters's Thesis Generational Entrepreneurship in Agriculture analyzes the key challenges and factors influencing the transfer of family farms between generations. The focus is on the role of generational entrepreneurship in preserving rural communities, tradition, and economic development. The paper explores financial barriers, lack of education and training, and youth migration as the main challenges faced by young farmers. Special attention is given to the impact of external factors, such as changing market conditions and climate change, and the importance of continuous education, legal planning, and the application of new technologies for successful business transfer. The paper also emphasizes the need to retain young people in rural areas to ensure the long-term sustainability of the agricultural sector. In conclusion, the thesis provides recommendations for improving generational entrepreneurship practices, highlighting the importance of supporting family farms in facing challenges and ensuring their continuity and prosperity.
