Abstract
Sučelje mozak - računalo (BCI) je komunikacijski sustav između signala iz mozga i vanjskog uređaja. Signali iz mozga mogu biti prikupljani na više načina. Neinvazivne metode prikupljanja signala uključuju postavljanje elektroda na tjeme glave čime se snimaju EEG signali. Bionička ruka izrađena prema pacijentu kojemu nedostaje šaka je printana 3D printerom kao i prsti koji se mogu pokretati pomoću servo motora. Epoc elektrode kojima se snimaju EEG signali je omogućila tvrtka Emotiv koja ujedno pruža i SDK za komunikaciju s drugim uređajima i aplikacijama. Veza za izvedbu pokreta ruke je računalo i ugradbeni uređaj Arduino elektronička pločica koja direktno šalje naredbe na motore kojima se ruka pokreće. Cilj ovoga rada bio je izraditi jednostavni BCI sustav koji će omogućiti pacijentu korištenje protetičke ruke pomoću EEG signala.
Abstract (english)
Brain computer interface (BCI) is a communication system in which brain and device communicate. Brain impulses can be captured in many ways. Placing electrodes on scalp and gathering EEG signals is non-invasive method of signal acquisition explained in this paper. Bionic hand and prosthetic fingers designed for patient are printed in 3D technology. Hand and finger movements are driven by servo motors implemented on hand print. Emotive's Epoc electrodes for EEG signal acquisition are interface between brain and computer programm which provides SDK for communication with other applications and devices. Commands from Arduino microcontroller are simulations of hand movement operated with five servo motors. The aim of this study was to develop a simple BCI system that will enable use of prosthetic hand with patient's EEG signals.
