Abstract
Diplomski rad istražuje razlike u interesima djece za izvannastavne sportske aktivnosti, fokusirajući se na utjecaj različitih čimbenika. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 401 roditelja djece školske dobi 9,06±1,42 godina, s prosječnom dobi roditelja od 39,38±5,95 godina. Svi ispitanici su anonimno i dobrovoljno ispunili online anketni upitnik. koji je sadržavao 14 čestica. Osim kriterijske varijable te kategorijskih varijabli kod svih ostalih varijabli ispitanici su iskazivali stupanj svojeg slaganja sa svakom tvrdnjom na Likertovoj ljestvici s 5 stupnjeva procjene (1= nikakva, 5=iznimna) te su dvije varijable bile kvalitativnog tipa. Može se zaključiti da roditelji prepoznaju važnost tjelesne aktivnosti i društvenih interakcija kroz sportske aktivnosti za svoju djecu, ali se suočavaju s izazovima kao što su nedostatak vremena i nedostupnost organiziranih sportskih programa. Razumijevanje ovih prepreka i potreba za boljim organizacijskim rješenjima može znatno unaprijediti sudjelovanje djece u izvannastavnim sportskim aktivnostima, pridonoseći njihovom fizičkom, socijalnom i emocionalnom razvoju.
Abstract (english)
The diploma thesis investigates the differences in children's interests in extracurricular sports activities, focusing on the influence of various factors. The research included 401 parents of school-age children 9.06±1.42 years old, with an average age of parents of 39.38±5.95 years. All respondents anonymously and voluntarily filled out the online survey questionnaire. which contained 14 particles. In addition to the criterion variable and categorical variables, for all other variables, respondents expressed their degree of agreement with each statement on a 5-point Likert scale (1=none, 5=exceptional), and two variables were of a qualitative type. It can be concluded that parents recognize the importance of physical activity and social interactions through sports activities for their children, but they face challenges such as lack of time and the unavailability of organized sports programs. Understanding these obstacles and the need for better organizational solutions can significantly improve children's participation in extracurricular sports activities, contributing to their physical, social and emotional development.
