Given that certain settings need to be adjusted when a repository is established, the DABAR team organizes educational workshops for repository managers with the aim of helping new repository managers to organize their repositories and start storing objects as easily as possible. Due to the epidemiological situation, the workshop was held online in the form of a webinar on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, with 30 participants. The workshop, together with members of the DABAR team, was led by Ivana Dorotić Malič from the University Library Rijeka, who shared her experience working with repositories.
During the webinar, repository managers heard more about the basic information related to the procedure for reporting changes to responsible persons, reporting bugs and/or new requests, the procedure for assigning editorial role to collaborators, adjusting repository settings, and assigning and changing authority to other repository users. The webinar also included a demonstration of uploding a digital object, where it was shown how objects can be managed, how to add and edit texts in the repository, and how to manage profile pages.
