Abstract
Urbani vrtovi predstavljaju poseban oblik poljoprivrede te njihovim korisnicima mogućnost proizvodnje hrane za vlastite potrebe. Međutim, u urbanim područjima veliki je broj izvora onečišćenja koja mogu ugroziti sigurnu proizvodnju hrane: kontaminacijom tla i vode za navodnjavanje. Ukoliko se ta činjenica zanemari javlja se opasnost da proizvedeno povrće u svojim tkivima taloži teške metale, policikličke aromatske ugljikovodike i sl. Tada oni unosom u organizam predstavljaju opasnost za ljudsko zdravlje. U ovom radu prikazani su rezultati analize uzoraka vode iz ručnih pumpi (2016. i 2017. godina) u gradskim vrtovima. Rezultati kemijske analize uzorkovanih voda ocijenjeni su s obzirom na postavljene zahtjeve za kvalitetom vode za navodnjavanje. Rezultati su potvrdili mogućnost korištenja vode za navodnjavanje gradskih vrtova. Međutim, važno je provoditi monitoring kojim će se spriječiti pojava i štetni učinci potencijalnih anorganskih i organskih onečišćivala.
Abstract (english)
Urban gardens represent a special form of agriculture and offer their users the possibility of producing food for their own needs. However, urban areas hide a large number of sources of pollution that can endanger safe food production: contamination of soil and water for irrigation. If that fact is neglected, there is a danger that these vegetables accumilate various forms of contamination in their tissue (heavy metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons etc.), these then present the human health. These paper present the result of the chemical analysis of water samples were evaluated with regard to the requirements for water quality for irrigation. The results confirmed the possibility of using water for irrigation of city gardens. However, it is important to conduct monitoring that will prevent the occurrence and harmful effects of potential inorganic and organic pollutants.
