Abstract
Američki cvrčak (Scaphoideus titanus Ball.) jedini je poznati prirodni vektor zlatne žutice vinove loze. Hrani se sišući sokove iz floema vinove loze, pri čemu usvaja fitoplazmu (Flavescence dorée) koju unosi u svoj organizam i na taj način je prenosi hranjenjem sa zaraženih trsova na zdrave trsove. Za uspješno suzbijanje američkog cvrčka vrlo je bitno poznavati njegovu biologiju i ekologiju. Temeljem toga cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti prisutnost i utvrditi brojnost američkog cvrčka na lokalitetu Vurot, Sisačko-moslavačka županija. Kao sredstvo praćenja korištene su žute ljepljive ploče. Istraživanje je pokazalo nisku brojnost štetnika, a najveći ulov bio u dijelu vinograda gdje se uzgaja kultivar Chardonnay. Nakon tretiranja pripravkom „Decis 2,5 EC˝ štetnik se u promatranom vinogradu više nije pojavljivao.
Abstract (english)
Leafhopper (Scaphoideus titanus Ball.) is the only known natural vector of golden yellow grapevine. It transmits phytoplasma (Flavescence dorée) to healthy vines by sucking the juices from the phloem of the infected grapevine, thus importing it into its body. For successful leafhopper control, it ist very important to know its biology and ecology. Based on this, the aim of this paper was to investigate leafhopper presence and determine the species' number at Vurot, Sisak-Moslavina County. Yellow panels were used as a monitoring tool. The study shows a relatively small leafhopper fauna; the majority populating the part of the vineyard where a Chardonnay cultivar is grown. After applying „Decis 2,5 EC˝ insecticide, the pest no longer appeared in the observed vineyard.
