Abstract	Nakon što je studentskim istraživanjem te radom stručnjaka na projektu revitalizacije napuštene željezničke pruge Kanfanar – Rovinj utvrđeno da ista ima potencijal za prenamjenu u biciklističko - pješačku stazu, kao prioritet postavilo se uključivanje obnovljene staze na postojeću mrežu biciklističko - pješačkih staza Istarske županije. Izuzev postojećih staza, nadovezivanjem na okolnu zelenu infrastrukturu omogućio bi se veći priljev korisnika - posjetitelja, čime bi se stvorili uvjeti za veće ulaganje u stazu i njezin prateći sadržaj te revitalizaciju ruralne sredine kroz koju ona prolazi. Prilikom odabira lokacije i načina uključivanja trase na okolnu mrežu biciklističko - pješačkih staza, u ovom je radu istražen moguć negativni utjecaj na Ekološku mrežu - Natura 2000 i zaštićena područja prirode koji bi pritom mogao nastupiti, obzirom da se trasa pruža duž južne strane značajnog krajobraza i posebnog rezervata u moru Limski zaljev te uz rubni dio značajnog krajobraza Rovinjskih otoka i priobalnog područja. Kroz daljnju razradu načina povezivanja, detaljno su se prezentirale tipologija i karakteristike novih staza, uz prijedlog potencijalnih mogućnosti zaštite korisnika koje proizlaze iz osobitosti lokacija na kojima se njihov koridor smjestio.
Abstract (english)	After having established that the former rail corridor Kanfanar–Rovinj has a potential for transformation in a pedestrian and bicycle lane, as a main priority was set up its addition to the existing network of Istria County's pedestrian and bike lanes. Except the existing paths, with its connection on the nearby green infrastructure, an increased incoming of visitors would be achieved. The higher number of visitors could trigger investiments in path and its facilities and in the same time open the possibility for the revitalization of nearby rural areas. During the selection of the most suitable location and choosing the way of its connection with the existing network of pedestrian and bike lanes, in this thesis was considered the possible negative impact on the environment since the corridor passes along the network of protected natural areas within protected areas Natura 2000 (the most relevant are the significant landscapes of Lim channel and Rovinj's islands with its coastal area). During further project development, in details were presented the characteristics of new connections, with possible suggestions of users protection which occur from the characteristics of locations where new corridors had been set.
