Abstract
Grabežljiva grinja Neoseiulus cucumeris (Oudemans, 1930) iz porodice Phytoseiide smatra se jednim od najznačajnijih prirodnih neprijatelja za suzbijanje štetnika u zaštićenim prostorima. Njena učinkovitost je dovoljna za održavanje štetnika ispod kritičnog broja, ali ne i za potpuno suzbijanje, zbog čega je potrebno dodatno tretiranje insekticidima. Prirodne insekticide i akaricide te naturalite ubrajamo u skupinu sigurnih sredstava za zaštitu, no i njihovo korištenje u kombinaciji s grinjom treba istražiti. Stoga je cilj ovog rada bio istražiti imaju li prirodni insekticidi i akaricidi učinak na grinju N. cucumeris. Istraživanje je provedeno u laboratorijskim uvjetima na temperaturi od 25 °C uz relativnu vlažnost zraka od 75 % i fotoperiodu od 14 sati (dan): 10 sati (noć). Petrijeve zdjelice tretirane su s pet različitih djelatnih tvari te vodom koja je bila kontrolna varijanta. Očitavanje akutnog djelovanja obavljeno je 24 sata nakon tretiranja, a rezidualni učinak sedmi dan od tretiranja. Niti jedna djelatna tvar nije imala jako akutno djelovanje na grinju. Piretrin i spinosad pokazali su najvišu učinkovitost (83,33 % i 81,67 %) zadnji dan očitavanja te su klasificirani kao srednje opasni insekticidi. Azadiraktin se pokazao kao malo opasan insekticid jer je imao slabije rezidualno djelovanje te je učinkovitost sedmi dan od primjene iznosila 53,33 %. Najnižu učinkovitost pokazali su abamektin i spirodiklofen te su klasificirani kao bezopasni. S obzirom na rezultate, naturalit abamektin i standardni akaricid spirodiklofen su se pokazali kao najsigurniji za uporabu s grabežljivom grinjom N. cucumeris.
Abstract (english)
The predatory mite Neoseiulus cucumeris (Oudemans, 1930) from the family Phytoseiidae is considered one of the most important natural enemies for controlling indoor pests. Its efficiency is sufficient to keep pests below a critical number, but not completely under control, which requires additional treatment with insecticides. Natural insecticides, acaricides and naturalytes belong to the group of safe means of protection, so the goal of this research was to investigate what effect they have on predatory mite N. cucumeris. The research was conducted under laboratory conditions at temperature of 25°C, with relative humidity of 75% and photoperiod of 14 h (light): 10 h (dark). Petri dishes were treated with five different active substances and water as a control variant. The inspection of acute effect was performed 24 h after treatment, and the residual effect on the seventh day after treatment. No active substance had an acute effect on the mite. Pyrethrin and spinosad showed the highest efficiency (83.33% and 81.67%) on the last day of inspection and were classified as moderately harmful insecticides. Azadirachtin proved to be a slightly harmful insecticide because it had a weaker residual effect, with an efficacy of 53.33 % on the seventh day of application. Abamectin and spirodiclofen showed the lowest efficacy and were classified as harmless. By the given results, naturalyte abamectin and the standard acaricide spirodiclofen have been shown to be the safest for the use with the predatory mite N. cucumeris.
