Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je opisati nastanak ugljikohidrata topivih u vodi (UTV) u voluminoznoj krmi te prikazati njihov utjecaj na kvalitetu fermentacije u silosu, hranidbenu vrijednost krme i proizvodnost životinja. U biljnoj masi su UTV (glukoza, fruktoza, saharoza i fruktani), produkt fotosinteze kojim biljke prevode sunčevu energiju u kemijsku. Sadržaj UTV u voluminoznoj krmi ovisi o brojnim čimbenicima poput čimbenika biljke, gospodarenja usjevom i mikroklimatskih čimbenika. Tijekom fermentacije u silosu, UTV su važan supstrat za rast i razvoj anaerobnih bakterija mliječno kiselinskog vrenja. S povećanjem sadržaja UTV u krmi, može doći do povećanja konzumacije ST, veće proizvodnje mlijeka, linearnog povećanja iskorištenja N iz obroka i manjeg izlučenja N iz organizma. Hranidba krmom višeg sadržaja UTV (oko 200 – 400 g UTV kg-1 ST) povećava prirast janjadi u tovu. Zaključeno je da su UTV značajna organska komponenta hranjive vrijednosti voluminozne krme koja povećava kvalitetu fermentacije biljne mase u silosu, hranjivu vrijednost krme, proizvodnju mlijeka i prirast janjadi u tovu, ali ne nužno i konzumaciju ST voluminozne krme.
Abstract (english)
The objective od this paper was to explain the formation of water-soluble carbohydrates (WSC) in forage and their imact on the fermentation quality in the silo, the nutritive value of forage and animal productivity. In forage, WSC (glucose, fructose, sucrose and fructans) are products of a photosynthesis by which plants convert solar into chemical energy. The content of WSC in forage depends on number of factors such as plant, crop managemet and microclimatic factors. During fermentation in the silo, WSC are an important substrate for the growth and developent of anaerobic lactic acid fermentation bacteria. With an increase in WSC in forage, there may be an icrease in DM intake, a higher milk production, a linear increase in N utilization from the diet in diary cows and less N excertion. Higher WSC in forage (about 200 – 400 g WSC kg-1 DM) increases lamb growth performance. It was concluded that WSC are a significant organic component in the forage that icreases the fermentation quality in the silo, nutritive value of feed, milk production and growth of lambs in fattening, but not necessarily the forage DM intake.
