Abstract
Hrvatska ima bogatu ihtiofaunu te mnogobrojne edemske vrste riba. To bogatstvo je ugroženo ponajprije negativnim utjecajem čovjeka na staništa i unosom stranih vrsta riba. Cilj ovog rada je bio istražiti sastav i raznolikost ihtiofaune u 10 potoka i kanala u donjem dijelu savskog slijeva Hrvatske, opisati stanje i usporediti zajednice riba tih pritoka rijeke Save. Istraživanje je provedeno u svibnju i lipnju 2019. godine na 14 lokacija u široj okolici Okučana i Nove Gradiške. Uzorkovanje ribe se obavljalo elektroribolovom i bilježili su se osnovni fizikalno-kemijski parametri vode za svaku lokaciju. Za analiziranje ihtiofaune korišten je Shannon-Wiener indeks, indeks sličnosti, cluster analiza i t-test za testiranje razlika između kanala i potoka te ABC indeks i krivulja dominacije za utvrđivanje stanja stresa. Zabilježeno je ukupno 20 vrsta riba. Negativan utjecaj čovjeka na zajednice riba je utvrđen na svim vodotocima te je uočen značajno veći udio stranih vrsta u broju jedinki i biomasi ribljih zajednica kanala u odnosu na potoke.
Abstract (english)
Croatia has a rich ichthyofauna and many endemic fish species, but they are negatively impacted by habitat destruction and introduction of alien fish species. Aim of this research was to explore fish assemblage diversity in 10 river Sava tributaries within lower part of Sava river basin, describe their condition and compare stream fish communities with those found in canals. Field sampling was done in May and June of 2019 on 14 locations in the vicinity of Okučani and Nova Gradiška towns. Fish were collected by electrofishing and basic physio-chemical parameters of water were measured. Analysis of fish assemblages was done by calculating Shannon-Wiener and similarity indices and performing cluster analysis. T-test was used to determine possible differences between fish assemblages within streams and canals. ABC indices and dominance curves were used to describe level of stress within different habitats. Overall, 20 fish species were found during sampling. Adverse impact on fish communities was determined in all investigated waterbodies. Results showed that alien species were significantly more abundant and had greater biomass in the fish assemblages of canals when compared to the streams.
