Abstract
Bio-jet gorivo proizvedeno iz biomase postalo je ključni element u strategiji zrakoplovne industrije za smanjenje utjecaja na okoliš. Utjecaj na okoliš je u ovom resoru vrlo izražen uslijed povećanja emisija CO2, koje se očekuje u narednom desetljeću kao rezultat povećanog broja letova. Bio-jet goriva klasificiraju se u nekoliko skupina, ovisno o vrsti sirovine, tehnologiji proizvodnje i konačnom proizvodu. Jedno od mogućih bio-jet goriva jesu tzv. alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) goriva koja se proizvode iz različitih alkohola. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je opisati postupak proizvodnje bio-jet goriva iz alkohola, ovisno o ulaznoj sirovini te fazi fermentacije u postupku proizvodnje, uz analizu i usporedbu primjene bio-jet goriva kao zamjenskog goriva u zračnom prometu.
Abstract (english)
Bio-jet fuel produced from biomass has become a key element in the aviation industry’s strategy to reduce environmental impact. The impact on the environment in this department is very pronounced due to the increase in CO2 emissions, which is expected in the next decade as a result of the increased number of flights. Bio-jet fuels are classified into several groups, depending on the type of raw material, production technology and the final product. One of the possible bio-jet fuels are the so-called alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) fuels produced from a variety of alcohols. The aim of this thesis is to describe the process of production of bio-jet fuel from alcohol, depending on the input raw material and the fermentation phase in the process, with analysis and comparison of bio-jet fuel as a substitute fuel in air transport.
