Abstract
Gljiva Sclerotina sclerotiorum (Ascomycota) polifagan je patogen i uzročnik bolesti bijele truleži kulturnih biljaka. Promjene u načinu uzgoja kulturnih biljaka dovode do prijelaza na biološko suzbijanje štetnih organizama. Vrste roda Trichoderma koriste se u biološkom suzbijanju fitopatogenih organizama. Trichoderma atroviride pripada rodu gljiva Trichoderma spp., koje posjeduju antifungalna svojstava. U radu je istraživana antagonistička sposobnost izolata T. atroviride STP8 na fitopatogenu gljivu S. sclerotiorum kroz testiranja antagonizma i mikoparazitizma. Istraživanje je provedeno metodom dvojnih kultura. Izolat STP8 značajno je inhibirao rast i razvoj patogena S. sclerotiorum te su potvrđeni mehanizmi kompeticije i mikoparazitizma (I=76,67%). Nakon dva mjeseca došlo je do potpune maceracije sklerocija i odumiranja.
Abstract (english)
The fungus Sclerotina sclerotiorum (Ascomycota) is a polyphagous pathogen and the causative agent of white mold disease of cultivated plants. Changes in the cultivation of cultural plants lead to a transition to biological control of harmful organisms. Species of the genus Trichoderma are used in the biological control of phytopathogenic organisms. Trichoderma atroviride belongs to the genus Trichoderma spp., which have antifungal properties. The antagonistic ability of the isolate T. atroviride STP8 on the phytopathogenic fungus S. sclerotiorum was investigated in the paper through testing of antagonism and mycoparasitism. The research was conducted using the method of dual cultures. Isolate STP8 significantly inhibited the growth and development of the pathogen S. sclerotiorum, and the mechanisms of competition and mycoparasitism were confirmed (I=76.67%). Antifungal activity was proven by complete maceration of sclerotia. After two months, the sclerotia were completely macerated and unalived.
