The Capra Domestica goat farm has been breeding high-milk goat breeds for more than a decade, producing goat's milk and raising breeding kids for its own herd renewal. The farm is located in Sitno Donji, town of Šibenik, Šibenik-Knin County. The main goal of the farm is the production and processing of goat's milk. Milk production is based on the most famous European high-milk goat breeds: Alpine and Sanska. The processing of milk obtained on the farm is organized in a cheese factory located in Brinje, Lika-Senj County. Milk is processed into top quality products without the addition of artificial colors, additives, flavor enhancers and preservatives. Processing is based on natural fermentation with maximum commitment to product quality monitoring. For the production of dairy products, only milk produced on our own farm is used. High-quality technology, with an emphasis on the high hygienic quality of milk, enables the guaranteed production of top-quality dairy products. Natural, i.e. unadulterated raw material (goat's milk) together with the organization of the technological process according to the principles of ecological production resulted in obtaining the Eco certificate among the first in Croatia in that sector. The goats on the farm are provided with living conditions worthy of their nobility, milking takes place in amortized and computer-monitored milking parlor, and the natural cycle of the animals is respected without the use of hormones, illegal antibiotics and hormones to stimulate the sexual cycle and lactation.
