Strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Duch.) is a fruit that is spread and accepted all over the world. It is in everyday use because it is rich in minerals and phenols. In a study conducted during the summer of 2017 at Ulva Kvarn, near Uppsala, Sweden, the aim was to determine which growing measures were used to cultivate strawberry Malwina in greenhouses. It was established that the main growing measures used in strawberry cultivation in a protected area are crop establishment, fertilization, irrigation, pest management, cutting of runners and harvesting at proper time. The Silitec fertilizer activity was also investigated on the properties of cultivar 'Malwina' seeds. The experiment included two different treatments with Silitec fertilizer and control without application. Later on, berries were harvested, and seeds were separated from the central part of fruits for further analysis. Measurements were performed via scanner and the morphological seeds properties were determined by WinSEEDLE ™" software. The results of the research showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the investigated seed properties between treatments and that the "Silitec" foliar fertilizer had no significant effect on the seed properties of the strawberry "Malwina". The paper also describes the most important growing measures being carried out in the plantation, in order to produce good yield and increase fruit quality.
