Abstract
Katastrofe u raznim literaturama se navode kao nepogode izazvane samom promjenom prirode. Prirodne katastrofe nastaju djelovanjem prirodnih sila a odražavaju se kao: potresi, požari, olujna nevremena, poplave i dr. To je iznenadan i neželjeni proces, ograničen trajanjem sa velikom materijalnom štetom i ugrozom za ljudski život. Kao takva zahtijeva spremnost zajednice za vrijeme trajanja krize i nakon njih. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi probleme i prikazati važnost komunikacije u kriznim situacijama na primjeru potresa na području Banovine i okolice. Uz navedeni primjer komunikacije lokalne vlasti za vrijeme krizne situacije još će biti obrađeni pojmovi: krizna komunikacija i izvori informacija, katastrofa i vrste katastrofa te njezini uzroci i posljedice, važnost komunikacije za vrijeme katastrofa i nakon njih, te važnost medija u krizi.
Abstract (english)
Disasters are cited in various literatures as disasters caused by the very change of nature. Natural disasters are caused by natural forces and are reflected as: earthquakes, fires, storms, floods, etc. It is a sudden and undesirable process, limited in duration with great material damage and threat to human life. As such, it requires community readiness during and after the crisis. The aim of this paper is to identify problems and show the importance of communication in crisis situations on the example of earthquakes in the Banovina region and its surroundings. In addition to the above example of local government communication during a crisis situation, the following concepts will also be covered: crisis communication and sources of information, disasters and types of disasters and its causes and consequences, the importance of communication during and after disasters, and the importance of media in crisis.
