Abstract (english) In this paper, a key aspect of labor law - wages, with an emphasis on the education system - was investigated. As is well known, salary is a fundamental element and relationship between employer and employee, and at the same time it plays an important role in order to ensure adequate compensation for work. By analyzing the legislative framework as well as court precedents, it was investigated how the salary is regulated within the legal system itself. An important factor in determining the salary is, as is generally known, the education of the worker. Workers who have a higher level of education often have higher salaries precisely because of their specialized knowledge and skills that come with the workplace they are in. Education level can also be a key factor when it comes to negotiating a starting salary. Legal norms that protect workers from discrimination based on education were also analyzed. Likewise, gender inequality related to salary was also mentioned. It was investigated how education has an impact on the difference in wages between the sexes, and an analysis of legal provisions that prohibit this kind of discrimination. Salary supplements, which include bonuses, vacations or other forms of additional compensation, were also mentioned. The legal aspects of contracting and the payment of supplements were analyzed, as well as the problems and disputed situations that may arise in this regard. Ultimately, conclusions were made about the importance of education in the context of salary as well as an equal institute. Legal elements are necessary to ensure a fair and transparent salary policy in all sectors of the economy. The need for further research has been expressed more and more to understand how education has an impact on wages and how to improve the system of rewarding workers that is in line with educational achievements. Other factors that can have an impact on the salary are work experience, then specialized skills and market demand for certain profiles of workers. The dynamic changes occurring in the economic environment also have an impact on the value of labor as well as on wages in a particular industry. It is important to emphasize that salary is not only an economic, but also a socially important factor for an individual. A high salary contributes to a better standard of living and positively affects the general well-being of society.
