Abstract
Primarni cilj ovog rada je istaknuti važnost razvoja turizma i u zadnje vrijeme osobito kulturnog turizma, analizirati potencijale grada Krapine za njegov razvoj i valorizaciju. Prvi dio rada sastoji se od teorijskog dijela. U teorijskom dijelu pojašnjeni su pojmovi turizma, njegove vrste i oblici te definicinije vezane za kulturni turizam; koji sve aspekti čine kulturni turizam, tko su kulturni turisti i po čemu se razlikuju od ostalih turista. Nadalje, u radu su obrađene suvremene smjernice u razvoju kulturnog turizma, te kako i u kolikoj mjeri Hrvatska iskorištava kulturne resurse u turističke svrhe.
Abstract (english)
The primary goal of this paper is to point out the importance of the development of tourism and more recently especially cultural tourism, to analyze the potential from city Krapina for its development and valorization. First part of the paper consists a theoretical part. The theoretical part explains terms of tourism, its types and forms and definitions bound to cultural tourism; what all aspects make up cultural tourism, who are cultural tourists and how they differ from other tourists. Further the paper deals with modern guidelines in the development of cultural tourism, and how and to what extent Croatia uses cultural resources for tourism purposes. In second part of the paper lists describes resources available to the City of Krapina. The second part of the paper refers to the analysis of data on attendance of certain cultural and tourist resources. The paper lists the cultural and tourist contents with an emphasis on resources that need to be improved, and some should be valorized that would lead to higher attendance and longer tourists stay at the destination.
