Abstract
Oskoruša (Sorbus domestica L.) je samonikla voćka od sve većeg značaja u hortikulturi, proizvodnji drva i voća. Budući da ne može podnijeti konkurenciju drugih vrsta, obično raste kao izolirana stabla, zbog čega je izravno izložena povećanom intenzitetu svjetla i ekstremnim uvjetima okoline. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj visokog intenziteta svjetla na fotosintetsku učinkovitost listova svjetla i sjene oskoruše. Mjerenjem fluorescencije klorofila a, izračunati su parametari koji opisuju fotosintetsku učinkovitost oba tipa lista. Utvrđeno je da je indeks fotosintetske učinkovitosti na bazi apsorpcije (PIABS) veći u listovima sjene, dok se ukupni indeks fotosintetske učinkovitosti (PItotal) pokazao većim u listovima svjetla. Takvi rezultati sugeriraju povećanu osjetljivost fotosustava II u listovima svjetla, odnosno fotosustava I u listovima sjene na fotoihibiciju.
Abstract (english)
Service tree (Sorbus domestica L.) is a wild fruit tree of increasing importance in horticulture, wood and fruit production. Since it cannot withstand competition from other species, it usually grows as isolated trees, which is why it is directly exposed to increased light intensity and extreme environmental conditions. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of high light intensity on the photosynthetic efficiency of light and shade leaves in service tree. By measuring the fluorescence of chlorophyll a, the parameters describing the photosynthetic efficiency of both types of leaves were calculated. The performance index on absorption basis (PIABS) was found to be higher in shade leaves, while the total performance index (PItotal) was shown to be higher in light leaves. Such results suggest increased susceptibility of photosystem II in sun leaves, relative to photosystem I in shade leaves to photoinhibition.
