Abstract
U suvremenom svijetu razvoj Interneta i informacijskih tehnologija ima bitan utjecaj na razvoj trgovine. Prednosti koje pruža elektronički način poslovanja očituju su kroz smanjenje troškova poslovanja, kraće vrijeme isporuke, veći asortiman roba i usluga kao i skraćeno vrijeme između plaćanja i prijema roba ili usluga. Broj korisnika Interneta svaki dan je sve veći, a razvoj informatike omogućio je sofisticiraniji način prodajnog procesa. Navedene pogodnosti daju mogućnosti za daljnji napredak svjetske trgovine i razvoj nacionalnih gospodarstava. Elektronička trgovina može svesti na dva tipa aktivnosti: neizravna elektronička trgovina gdje se gdje se roba isporučuje putem tradicionalnih kanala dostave (pošta) i direktne elektroničke trgovine koja se odnosi na naručivanje preko on-line mreže, plaćanje i isporuku neopipljivih vrsta roba (zabavni sadržaji ili informacijske usluge). U Hrvatskoj su zabilježeni različiti trendovi. Trend povećanja potrošnje i rastućeg prometa od Domovinskog rata, prekinula je ekonomska kriza 2008. godine. Iako danas brojke nisu ni blizu onima prije krize, istraživanja pokazuju da sektor maloprodaje ostvaruje uzlaznu putanju.
Abstract (english)
In modern world, development of Internet and information technology has a major influence on development of commerce. Advantages with electronic way off trade come with cut of business costs, shorter time of delivery, larger offer of goods and services as well as shorter time between payment and take over of goods and services. The number of Internet users is growing every day and growth of information technologies has enabled more sophisticated trade process. The benefits listed give more possibilities for further growth of national economies. Electronic trade can be reduced to two main types of activities: indirect electronic trade where goods are delivered over traditional canals of delivery (such as via postal service) and direct electronic trade which relate to ordering on-line, payment and delivery of intangible types of goods (such as entertainment content or information services). Croatia follows different ways of trends. The trend of increasing consumption and growing trade since Homeland war, was interrupted by the economic crisis in 2008. Although today numbers are not even close to those before crisis, studies show that retail sector performs upwards trajectory.
