Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je „Stilovi vodstva u menadžmentu“. Svrha je ukazati na važnost razumijevanja različitih stilova vodstva. Ciljevi rada su: definirati menadžment i njegove funkcije, pojasniti vodstvo i vođenje te analizirati različite teorije i stilove vodstva. Interes za temama menadžmenta, vodstva i vođenja posljednjih godina sve više raste. Posebna se pozornost daje pojmu vodstva te načinima kako postati dobar vođa. Menadžment i vođenje nerijetko se upotrebljavaju kao sinonimi, no među njima ipak postoje određene i to značajne razlike. Menadžment kao proces obuhvaća pet funkcija među kojima je i vođenje. Stoga, vođenje je prema tome dio menadžmenta te se ističe po nekima i kao najvažnija njegova funkcija. U današnje vrijeme poznato je da je tržište obilježeno dinamičnom konkurencijom koja je jedna odrednica globalizacijskog tržišta. Suvremena poduzeća zahtijevaju i suvremeno vodstvo koje zahtijeva iznimne vještine vođe. Ne postoji jedan stil vođenja koji je univerzalan za svaku organizaciju već je potrebno implementirati stil vodstva u skladu sa zahtjevanom situacijom. Postoje brojni stilovi vodstva, a u ovom radu oni su grupirani u pet podnaslova: vodstvo temeljeno na osobinama vođe, vodstvo temeljeno na ponašanju vođa, vodstvo orijentirano na zadatke ili zaposlene, kontingencijski pristup vodstvu te naposljetku suvremeni stilovi vodstva.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this paper is „Leadership Styles in Management“. The purpose is to point out the importance of understanding different leadership styles. The objectives of the paper are: define management and its functions, clarify leadership and analyze different theories and leadership styles. The interest in management and leadership is growing more and more every year. Attention is given to the concept of leadership and how to become a good leader. Management and guidance are often used as synonyms, but there is significant difference between them. Management as a process involves five functions, including leadership. Therefore, leadership is a part of management and it is highlighted as its most important function. Nowadays it is well-known that the market is characterized as dynamic and competitive. This is also character of the globalization. Contemporary companies also require modern leadership that requires exceptional leadership skills. There are no similar or same styles of leadership that can be used to each organization, it is necessary to implement leadership style in accordance with the required situation. There are numerous leadership styles, and this paper groups them into five subdivisions: leader-based leadership, leader-based leadership, task-oriented leadership, contingent access to leadership, and ultimately leadership styles.
