The topis of the final paper is "Employee motivation" and as the name suggests, there will be talk about the types od awards that increase employee motivation. The awards are divided into two main groups, tangible and intagible, and each group lists their types and decribes how they work and affect employee motivation. Motivation of employees in companies is very important and plays a big role because it is the employees who do most of the work of the company. And the success of the company in which they work depends, in part, on them. Motivation is sometimes use in conjuction with the notion of desire, because if an employee has sufficient motivation they will also have a desire to do their job. There are two types of employee motivation, and each of them affects the motivation and productivity of employees completely differently. Although this topic will be decribed in more detail in the paper but it is important to mention that no motivation can be maintained forever. It needs to be constantly maintained and nurtured as it can quickly disappear or shrink. While rewards are something that helps motivate employees, they need to be used wisely as well. The way a particular prize is used is sometimes more important than the type of itself. During this paper, it will be described which types of awards exist and how they affect employee motivation. In addition, a US study conducted by Harvard will be presented more in detail, and it is about whether the employee is willing to accept a smaller percentage on the salary for a job that has some significance for him and his environment. Whether employees work only for money and whether it is the driver of their productivity and stay in the same job will be shown by the above research.
