Abstract
Poduzetnici danas rade u potpuno novom okruženju koje karakteriziraju ne samo nagle i stalne promjene, već je konkurencija globalna i intenzivna. Zbog toga ne čudi da se danas poduzetnici ne fokusiraju samo na inovaciju kao središnju funkciju poduzetništva, već i na konkurenciju. Sve se mijenja, a najviše potrošači i njihove preferencije. Naime, novi proizvodi se stalno pojavljuju, a potrošači imaju pristup informacijama o svim proizvodima što im omogućuje da budu izbirljivi. Stoga ne samo da poduzetnici i drugi gospodarski subjekti moraju paziti na konkurenciju danas, već moraju biti prilagodljiva i inovativna za sutra. Poduzetnički način razmišljanja je imperative novog globalnog doba. Ovo otvara vrata za strategiju plavog oceana, Strategija plavog oceana govori o inovativnosti, prihvaćanju promjena i istraživanju novih, neistraženih proizvoda, usluga i tržišta. Svrha je ovog diplomskog rada istražiti što je strategija plavog oceana i koja je njezina uloga u ostvarivanju konkurentske prednosti poduzeća u uvjetima velike konkurencije na globalnom tržištu.
Abstract (english)
E ntrepreneurs today work in a completely new environment characterized not only by sudden and constant changes, but also by global and intense competition. Therefore, it is not surprising that today entrepreneurs focus not only on innovation as a central function of entrepreneurship, but also on competition. Everything changes, especially consumers and their preferences. Namely, new products are constantly appearing, and consumers have access to information about all products, which allows them to be choosy. Therefore, not only do entrepreneurs and other business entities have to keep an eye on the competition today, but they also have to be adaptable and innovative for tomorrow. An entrepreneurial way of thinking is an imperative of the new global era. This opens the door for a blue ocean strategy which is about innovation, embracing change and exploring new, unexplored products, services and markets. The purpose of this thesis is to present the what blue ocean strategy is and what is the role of it in achieving the company's competitive advantage in conditions of great competition on the global market.
