Abstract
Rad analizira pokretanje franšiznog poslovanja te ulazak na tržište poduzetnika sa stajališta primatelja franšize. Prilikom donošenja odluke o kupovini franšize procjena isplativosti od ključnog je značaja za primatelja. Iako se kupovinom franšize smanjuje rizik poduzetnika, prilikom donošenja odluke o kupovini u obzir je potrebno uzeti mnoge okolnosti i čimbenike. Troškovi nabave franšize znatno variraju i mogu biti veliki. Prihodi i dobit primatelja franšize također varira i ovisi o nizu čimbenika. Dobit se može dijeliti na različite načine, a najčešće se određeni postotak od ukupnog prometa korisnika franšize uplaćuje davatelju franšize, što je također potrebno uzeti u obzir prilikom razmatranja financijske isplativosti. U radu je izvršena i analiza stanja franšiznog poslovanja u Republici Hrvatskoj. Utvrđeno je kako i danas ovakav oblik poslovanja nije razvijen u mjeri u kojoj bi mogao biti, a poseban problem predstavlja i udio domaćih franšiza u ukupnoj strukturi. Taj je udio otprilike na 20 posto, što je daleko manje ispod europskog prosjeka koji se kreće od 80 posto na dalje. Slijedom toga, proizlazi da je potrebno poticati domaće franšize jer one imaju i gospodarski značaj, kako za izvoz i međunarodnu razmjenu, tako i na nacionalnu ekonomiju i tržište rada. Potrebno je povećati svijest i upućenost poduzetnika u mogućnosti i prednosti ovakve vrste poslovanja.
Abstract (english)
The paper analyzes the start-up of franchise business and the entry into the market of entrepreneurs from the point of view of franchisees. When deciding to purchase a franchise, a cost-effectiveness assessment is crucial for the recipient. Although buying a franchise reduces the risk of the entrepreneur, many circumstances and factors need to be considered when making a purchase decision. The cost of acquiring a franchise varies considerably and can be high. The income and profit of the franchisee also varies and depends on several factors. Profits can be shared in different ways, and most often a certain percentage of the total turnover of the franchisee is paid to the franchisor, which also needs to be considered when considering financial viability. The paper also analyzes the state of franchise operations in the Republic of Croatia. It was found that even today this form of business is not developed to the extent that it could be, and a special problem is the share of domestic franchises in the overall structure. That share is around 20 percent, far below the European average of 80 percent. Consequently, it follows that it is necessary to encourage domestic franchises because they have economic significance, both for exports and international trade, as well as for the national economy and labor market. It is necessary to increase the and awareness of entrepreneurs in the opportunities and benefits of this type of business.
