Abstract
U suvremenom društvu u kojem je naglašena potreba za naprednom tehnologijom, umjetna inteligencija ima ključnu ulogu u zadovoljavanju različitih potreba. U okviru šireg područja umjetne inteligencije, glasovni asistenti se ističu kao sveprisutni alati s rastućim udjelom upotrebe kako u globalnom, tako i u lokalnom kontekstu, uključujući Republiku Hrvatsku. Korištenjem intuitivnog načina rada, sve preciznijih funkcija i općenito korisnosti, virtualni asistenti olakšavaju korisnicima obavljanje svakodnevnih zadataka. Međutim, korištenje glasovne pretrage nosi i određene rizike. Ovaj rad provodi niz istraživanja u područjima marketinga i umjetne inteligencije kako bi se osigurali relevantni podaci i istražila percepcija rizika potrošača prilikom korištenja glasovne pretrage. Diplomski rad koji je obrađen u ovom kontekstu, analizira tržište u Hrvatskoj i pokazuje da Hrvatska zaostaje za zapadnim zemljama kada je riječ o korištenju glasovne pretrage. Nadalje, u radu se analizira konkurencija među proizvođačima glasovnih asistenata i procjenjuju se prednosti i nedostaci koje oni donose. Također, u radu se opisuje način rada "kolačića" i svrhe njihove upotrebe. Rad daje pregled glavnih funkcija virtualnih asistenata i njihovu primjenu u pametnim domovima.
Abstract (english)
In modern society, where the need for advanced technology is emphasized, artificial intelligence plays a key role in meeting various needs. Within the broader field of artificial intelligence, voice assistants stand out as ubiquitous tools with a growing share of use in both global and local contexts, including the Republic of Croatia. Using an intuitive way of working, increasingly precise functions and general usefulness, virtual assistants make it easier for users to perform everyday tasks. However, the use of voice search also carries certain risks. This paper conducts a series of research in the fields of marketing and artificial intelligence to provide relevant data and investigate consumer risk perception when using voice search. The diploma thesis, which was processed in this context, analyzes the market in Croatia and shows that Croatia still lags behind Western countries when it comes to the use of voice search. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the competition among manufacturers of voice assistants and evaluates the advantages and disadvantages they bring. It also describes how "cookies" work and the purpose of their use. The paper provides an overview of the main functions of virtual assistants and their application in smart homes.
