Abstract
Svakodnevni život ljudi prepun je rizičnih situacija, stoga rizici imaju vrlo važnu ulogu kako u svakodnevnom životu, tako i u poslovanju. Mala i srednja poduzeća svakodnevno se susreću s nekom vrstom rizika. Kako bi poduzeća profitirala i zaposlenici bili zadovoljni, nužno je poznavanje rizika. Ovim diplomskim radom ukazuje se na važnost poznavanja rizika, upravljanje rizicima te informiranje zaposlenika o njihovoj važnosti. Za početak, direktori, odnosno, menadžeri poduzeća moraju razumjeti što su rizici, znati ih identificirati, analizirati i od njih se u konačnici osigurati. Važno je razumjeti kako nije svaki rizik negativan, nego se može pretvoriti u dobru poslovnu priliku. U diplomskom radu provedeno je anketno istraživanje s ciljem prikupljanja podataka o tome koliko su direktori/ menadžeri malih i srednjih poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj informirani o rizicima, s kojim rizicima se najčešće susreću te informiraju li svoje zaposlenike o istima. Dolazi se do zaključka kako određeni ispitanici smatraju da se susreću s rizicima jednom godišnje. Mali broj ispitanika smatra kako se njihovo poduzeće uopće ne susreće s rizicima, što dovodi do zaključka da takvo poduzeće ne posjeduje strategiju za upravljanje rizicima. Prema provedenom istraživanju, zaposlenici su nedovoljno informirani o važnosti upravljanja rizicima. Provedenim istraživanjem u ovom diplomskom radu nastoji se potaknuti na razmišljanje i shvaćanje važnosti rizika u poslovanju kako bi poslovanje poduzeća bilo što uspješnije, a zaposlenici zadovoljniji.
Abstract (english)
People's everyday life is full of risky situations; therefore, risks play a very important role both in everyday life and in business. Small and medium-sized enterprises face some kind of risk every day. In order, for companies to profit and employees to be satisfied, it is necessary to know the risks. This graduate thesis points out the importance of knowing risks, risk management and informing employees about their importance. To begin with, directors, that is, company managers, must understand what risks are, know how to identify them, analyze them and ultimately protect against them. It is important to understand that not every risk is negative, but can be turned into a good business opportunity. In the graduate thesis, a survey was conducted with the aim of collecting data on how informed directors/managers of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Croatia are about risks, which risks they most often encounter, and whether they inform their employees about them. The conclusion is reached that certain respondents believe that they encounter risks once a year. A small number of respondents believe that their company does not face risks at all, which leads to the conclusion that such a company does not have a risk management strategy. According to the conducted research, employees are insufficiently informed about the importance of risk management. The research carried out in this thesis aims to encourage thinking and understanding the importance of risk in business so that the company's operations are as successful as possible, and the employees are more satisfied.
