Abstract
U završnom radu govorit će se ponajviše o stresu na poslu koji je danas poznat kao bolest 21. stoljeća. Prvo poglavlje će pokriti različite definicije stresa, uzroke stresa koji se mogu podijeliti na kataklizmičke, osobne ili dnevne koji su često aktivirani od stresa i različitih simptoma stresa. Najpoznatiji simptom stresa na poslu je sindrom izgaranja na poslu o kojem će se više govoriti u poglavlju „Simptomi stresa na radnom mjestu“. Istraživanja su pokazala da jedan od tri zaposlenika pate od posljedica stresa, što dovodi da ranih oboljenja i smanjene produktivnosti. Iz tog razloga, tema stresa na poslu, je potakla sve veći interes sa poslovne i akademske strane. Završni rad će prikazati rezultate istraživanja koje je provedeno u Republici Hrvatskoj gdje je bio cilj ispitati prisutnost i intenzitet stresa kod socijalnih radnika. Također će se pokriti tema upravljanja vremenom, jer je to jedna od najčešćih strategija za smanjenje stresa. Cilj ovog rada nije samo predstaviti čitateljima s različitim definicijama stres na radnom mjestu, nego i istraživati simptome stresa i predstaviti moguće metode i strategije za učinkovito suzbijanje i uklanjanje stresa.
Abstract (english)
The thesis will mostly talk about workplace stress, which is known as a disease of 21st century. First chapter will cover different definitions of stress, causes of stress, which can be divided into cataclysmic, personal or daily, frequent triggers of stress and different stress symptoms. The most famous stress symptom at work is the burn-out syndrome which will be further discussed in the chapter “Symptoms of Stress at Working Place”. Researches have shown that one out of three employees suffer from stress, which leads to diverse illnesses and diminish productivity at work. Because of that, this topic has received growing interest from both business and academic sector.. The thesis will present the results of a research conducted in the Republic of Croatia which aim was to test the presence and intensity of stress among social workers. The thesis will also cover the topic of time management since it is one of the most common strategies for reducing stressors. The aim of this thesis is not only to introduce readers with various definitions of workplace stress k, but also to explore symptoms of stress and to present possible methods and strategies for efficiently controlling and eliminating stress.
