Electronic commerce is one of the most important features that the development of technology and the internet has brought to business. Information and communications technologies provide electronic stores with the ability to communicate with potential customers at any time and in any place as long as both parties involved have access to the internet. Considering the daily use of the internet by a large number of people in the world, the development of electronic commerce is an example of the adaptation of business to the development of technology. Although it might once have been unimaginable to order a product from the other side of the world in just a few minutes, now it is something that happens every day, and with improvements in the form of better customer support, faster and more reliable delivery and simpler payment methods, electronic stores can further improve the satisfaction of their users. The development of the internet was the main prerequisite for the creation of a new form of commerce, electronic commerce, and over time, there were solutions developed that allowed users to complete the entire purchase process in just a few minutes, from choosing an item to paying and finally picking up the product, usually via delivery services. Satisfied customers will decide to buy more often, but the possibility of transferring positive impressions from existing users to new ones also increases. These preconditions, along with the further development of commerce and technology, are the basis of trends that clearly show that electronic commerce is in the phase of expansion, and it can be assumed that this trend will not stop in the near future. Conducted primary research on the topic ''Consumer's shopping habits due to the COVID-19 pandemic'' gave a better insight into the challenging phase in which consumers recently found themselves during pandemic restrictions and can serve online stores in creating a strategy to attract that part of users who do not yet make purchases via the internet.
