Abstract
Ovaj rad istražuje utjecaj lokusa kontrole na poslovni uspjeh, fokusirajući se na razlike između internog i eksternog lokusa. Interni lokus kontrole odnosi se na uvjerenje da pojedinci mogu kontrolirati ishode svojim naporima i odlukama, dok eksterni lokus označava vjerovanje da su vanjski faktori, poput sreće ili sudbine, presudni. Kroz pregled relevantne literature, istraživanje pokazuje da su pojedinci s internim lokusom kontrole često uspješniji, motiviraniji i zadovoljniji poslom. Oni... More preuzimaju inicijativu, postavljaju ambiciozne ciljeve i pokazuju veću otpornost na stres. S druge strane, osobe s eksternim lokusom kontrole suočavaju se s izazovima u motivaciji i radnom angažmanu, jer osjećaju manjak kontrole nad ishodima. Rad također naglašava važnost organizacijskih programa i intervencija koje mogu pomoći u razvoju internog lokusa kontrole, što može rezultirati poboljšanim radnim rezultatima i smanjenjem fluktuacije zaposlenika. Preporučuju se daljnja istraživanja kako bi se utvrdile najbolje prakse u primjeni ovih strategija. Less
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the impact of locus of control on business success, focusing on the differences between internal and external locus. Internal locus of control refers to the belief that individuals can control outcomes through their efforts and decisions, while external locus denotes the belief that external factors, such as luck or fate, are decisive. Through a review of relevant literature, the research shows that individuals with an internal locus of control are often more... More successful, motivated, and satisfied with their jobs. They take initiative, set ambitious goals, and show greater resilience to stress. On the other hand, individuals with an external locus of control face challenges in motivation and work engagement, as they feel a lack of control over outcomes. The paper also emphasizes the importance of organizational programs and interventions that can help develop an internal locus of control, which can result in improved work performance and reduced employee turnover. Further research is recommended to determine the best practices in implementing these strategies. Less
