Abstract
Tema ovog rada je proces zaštite žiga na primjeru poduzeća Franela d.o.o.. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela. U prvom dijelu pod nazivom „Proces zaštite žiga u Republici Hrvatskoj“ autor objašnjava pojam žiga, vrste i funkcije istog, registraciju žiga, njegov učinak te trajanje žiga. U drugom dijelu rada pod nazivom „Proces zaštite žiga za Franela d.o.o.“, autor na praktičnom primjeru prikazuje izradu dizajna za prednje navedenu firmu te objašnjava isti. Osim navedenog, autor opisuje proces prijave registracije žiga te postupak kod Državnog zavoda za intelektualno vlasništvo. Nakon toga, obrađuje se upravnopravna, građanskopravna te kaznenopravna zaštita žiga.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper is the process of trademark protection, based on the example of the firm Franela d.o.o. The work is divided into two parts. In the first part, entitled "The trademark protection process in the Republic of Croatia", the author explains the concept of a trademark, its type and function, its registration, its effect and the duration of the trademark. In the second part of the paper, entitled "The trademark process for Franela d.o.o.", the author shows in a practical example the development of the design for the company mentioned above and explains the same. In addition, the author describes the process of applying for a trademark registration and the procedure with the State Intellectual Property Office. Subsequently, the administrative, civil and criminal protection of the trademark is dealt with.
