Abstract
Pregovaranje se može promatrati s povijesnog aspekta te ujedno je jedna od najstarijih ljudskih vještina. U svakom djelu života neophodno je pregovaranje, bilo to u privatne ili poslovno svrhe. Uz pomoć pregovaračkog procesa dolazi se do pregovaračkog cilja koji se kod svakog pregovarača može razlikovati, no ključno je uspostaviti realne ciljeve te uz pomoć određenih taktika i vještina ostvariti ih. Vremenska dimenzija pregovaračkog procesa može trajati sat vremena ili više od godinu dana, stoga od iznimne koristi pregovaraču je odabir pregovaračke strategije. Poslovna komunikacija također uveliko ovisi o snagama pregovaračke moći pojedinog poduzeća. Na primjeru poduzeća Philip Morris, koji se bavi distribucijom duhanskih proizvoda, nastoji se objasniti izvor njegove pregovaračke moći koju stječe svojim ograničenim kanalima komunikacije i uz pomoć svoje dobro razvijene poslovne strategije. Također, svojim neprestanim ulaganjem u razvoj tehnologije i djelotvornim sistemom povećanja svoje pregovaračke moći nad tržištem duhanske industrije, Philip Morris stječe većinsko posjedovanje postojećih konkurenata.
Abstract (english)
Negotiation can be observed from a historical perspective, and is also one of the oldest human skills. Negotiation is necessary in every part od life, whether private or business purposes. Negotiation goal is reached with the help of the process which can be different for each negotiator but it is curcial to establish realistic goals and achieve them with the help of certain tactics and skills. Duration of the negotiation process can last for an hour or more than a year, so it is extremely important for the negotiator to choose right strategy. Business communication also largely depends on the bargaining power o fan individual company. The example od Philip Morris, a tobacco distribution company, which seeks to explain the source of it is bargaining power throught it it limited channels of communication and it is well-developed business strategy. Also, with it is continuous investments in technology development and an effective system of increasing it is bargaining power over the tobacco market, Philip Morris is gaining majority ownership of existing competitors.
