Abstract
Glavni cilj diplomskog rada bio je provesti istraživanje o ekonomskim učinicima kruzing turizma u Splitu, analizirajući s jedne strane izravne prihode ključnih nositelja kruzing tuirzma, a s druge strane prateći prihode od potrošnje gostiju s kruzera na ostale elemente ponude Splitra. U teorijskom dijelu rada dat je prikaz razvoja i provedbe kruzing turizma u svijetu i Hrvatskoj, a u istraživanju se osvrnulo na ekonomske učinke koji se generiraju u destinaciji Split. Istraživanjem provedenim među turistima s kruzera pokušalo se doći do odgovora o općim podacima o turistu, njegovoj potrošnji i zadovoljstvu destinacijom. Nakon provedenog istraživanja na teorijskoj razini kao i provedenog intervjua s predstavnikom Lučke uprave Split te ankete provedene među turistima s kruzera, dobivena je slika o provedbi kruzing turizma u Splitu.
Abstract (english)
The main aim of this thesis was to conduct research on economic impacts of cruise tourism in the city of Split, by analysing on one side direct income by the key stakeholders in the Split cruising industry, and on the other side by getting infromation on cruise tourists expenditure on other elements of supply in Split. In the theoretical part of the thesis an insight into cruise tourism development in the world and Croatia was given, while the empirical research (survey) referred to the economic effects cruise ship tourists generate in the city of Split. The questionnaire attempted to get general information about tourist, answers on their time spent in Split, their spending and overall satisfaction with the destination. After desk research, the interview with the representative of the Port of Split authorities and the survey conducted among tourists from the cruise ships, the picture on the cruising tourism industry state of the art in the city of Split was obtained.
