Abstract
U ovom završnom radu posvetilo se temi eksterna okolina poduzeća te je na primjeru poduzeća Podravka d.d. ona detaljno obrađena. U teorijskom dijelu se definirala okolina i njezina dva segmenta, a to su eksterna i interna okolina. Eksterna okolina se dijeli na poslovnu i opću. Spominju se također metode i tehnike za analizu okoline, a na primjeru poduzeća Podravka d.d. detaljno je analizirana tehnologija koja je jedna od najjačim Podravkinih snaga. U radu su prikazani najvažniji podaci vezani za promatrano poduzeće, kao npr. povijest, financijski podaci, tržišta, vizija i misija i zaposlenici. U posljednjem dijelu rada prikazan je portret i imidž poduzeća te najjače konkurentske prednosti, napravljena je SWOT analiza te su utvrđene prednosti, slabosti, prilike i prijetnje. Također je utvrđeno da je Podravka društveno odgovorno poduzeće koje vodi brigu o zaštiti okoliša. Iz analize tehnologije utvrđeno je da Podravka posjeduje iznimnu tehnologiju te da po tom pitanju nema konkurencije na području na kojem djeluje.
Abstract (english)
Throughout this thesis external analysis of Podravka p.l.c. was made. In theoretical part surrounding of the company was defined through two basic parts, external and internal surrounding. External surrounding has two parts, basic and business part. Methods and techniques for surrounding analysis were mentioned, and on the example of Podravka p.l.c. analysis of the technology were made, in detail, as it is one of their biggest advantages and they don't have any decent competitor in their industry regarding this matter. In the thesis are shown the most important information about the company, such as history, financial information, mission and vision, employees etc. In the last part, the SWOT analysis was made, and it showed all the advantages and disadvantages of the company through its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Moreover it was shown that Podravka has corporate social responsibility and that they are taking care of their society.
