Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je analizirati elemente konkurentnog i održivog prometnog sustava Republike Hrvatske, te identificirati glavne prepreke na ključnim područjima prometne infrastrukture Hrvatske koje je potrebno otkloniti kako bi prometni sustav RH bio maksimalno usklađen sa smjernicama iz Europske unije. Analiza je pokazala da je jedino kvaliteta cestovnog prometa u Hrvatskoj iznad prosjeka EU, mada zahtijeva daljnja ulaganja. Pred Hrvatskom je još dug put, prvenstveno u smislu dovršenja TEN-T mreže, te dogradnje i modernizacije svih ostalih vrsta prometa.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to analyze the elements of a competitive and sustainable transport system of the Republic of Croatia, and to identify the mail obstacles in the key areas of the Croatia’s transport infrastructure. These obstacles need to be removed in order for Croatian transport system meets the guidelines of the EU common transport policy. The analysis has shown that only the quality of road traffic is better that the average of EU, although it requires further investment. Croatia still needs to complete TEN-T network, and to complete and modernize all types of traffic.
