Abstract
Kroz rad se prikazuje što je to menadžersko računovodstvo, prvo kroz prikaz teorijskih definicija, a u drugom dijelu i na primjeru OTP banke. U samom radu se ističe važnost međusobnog odnosa računovodstva i kontrolinga te važnost kontrolinga kao savjetodavne i izvještajne uloge u poslovnom subjektu. Što je kvalitetnija razmjena informacija unutar poslovnog subjekta, osobito u dijelu računovodstva i kontrolinga, to kontroling može efikasnije obavljati svoje zadatke. U primjeru OTP banke su prikazani odgovori na pitanja postavljena Odjelu kontrolinga, koji pokazuju da se kontroling u navedenoj banci shvaćaju ozbiljno i u pravom smislu te funkcije, odnosno da je menadžersko računovodstvo važan čimbenik u planiranju i donošenju strategije te financijske institucije.
Abstract (english)
The thesis illustrates management accounting, at first in theory, by presenting relevant definitions, which are then followed by a specific example in practice, i.e. OTP banka. The overall emphasis is laid on the interrelationship between accounting and controlling, as well as on controlling as an advisory and a reporting function within the company. The higher the level at which information flows throughout the company, especially in terms of accounting and controlling, the higher the level of efficiency of the controlling department. In OTP banka case study, the answers were prepared based on the inputs of the Controlling Department, which clearly shows the relevance conferred to controlling at OTP banka, which is ultimately in line with its function as provided for in theory and demonstrates that management accounting plays a vital role in the planning and development of the strategy of the financial institution.
