One of the problems in business of LALIZAS MARINA d.o.o. is great demand, i.e. increase the volume of work where there is difficulty in distributing the goods. Distribution is effective transfer of goods from the point of production to the place of consumption at minimum cost and acceptable service to the costumers. In that transfer of goods it includes various activities and operations that ensure that the goods are available to the buyers. Possible solution of that problem is increasing of the number of employees. The existing number of employees sometimes is unable to perform default job at a certain time. On the other hand, if job is done at a certain time, employees get exhausted and their motivation for work falls. On the one hand, an increasing of the number of employees would lead to higher administrative costs, but would also lead to increased productivity and performance of obligation within the deadline. Then company would strive for the goal of physical distribution, which is delivering the right goods to the right place, at the right time and with the lowest possible costs. With larger number of employees it would be possible to be more dedicated to the main functions of distribution channels (research, promotion, contact), which would ultimately lead to better sales and greater satisfaction of customer. Also, it would be easier to do storage and manipulation of the goods.
