Abstract
Glavne gospodarske grane na poluotoku Pelješcu su turizam, vinarstvo, vinogradarstvo, školjkarstvo i maslinarstvo. Upravo zbog navedenoga Poluotok ima izvrsne predispozicije za daljnji razvitak i poboljšanje trenutne ponude eno i gastro turizma. Ove vrste turizma spadaju pod selektivne oblike odnosno turistima nude jedinstven doživljaj putem kojeg upoznaju lokalnu kulturu i stanovništvo. S obzirom da se glavne aktivnosti oko proizvodnje vina događaju upravo izvan turističke sezone, ulaganje u eno gastro turizam je ujedno i ulaganje u produljenje iste, odnosno smanjenje sezonalnosti što je cilj svake turističke destinacije. Glavne i popratne aktivnosti vezane uz ove oblike turizma mogu pozicionirati Pelješac na tržištu kao prepoznatljivu turističku destinaciju
Abstract (english)
The main economic branches on the peninsula of Peljesac are wine-growing, tourism and agriculture. Because of the that, the Peninsula has a great predisposition for further development and improvement of the existing supply of wine and gastronomic tourism. These types of tourism are part of selective forms, that means that tourists are offered by a unique experience through which they learn about the local culture and population. Wine-related activities are occuring just outside of the main tourist season, so the investment in the eno gastronomic tourism is also investment in the extension of the same, or way of decreasing seasonality which is the goal of every tourist destination. Basic and support activities related to these types of tourism can make Pelješac as a recognizable destination on touristic market.
