Abstract
Komunalna poduzeća obavljaju komunalne djelatnosti. Budući se radi o uslugama koje se odnose na širu društvenu zajednicu, predmet istraživanja je utvrđivanje specifičnosti u računovodstvu komunalnog poduzeća. Cilj ovog rada je bio utvrđivanje računovodstvenih specifičnosti na primjeru komunalnog poduzeća Čistoća Split, čija je osnovna djelatnost obavljanje komunalnih djelatnosti održavanja čistoće i odlaganje komunalnog otpada. Kroz prikazanu poslovnu dokumentaciju i evidentiranje poslovnih promjena u računovodstvu, u završnom radu pokušalo se sistematizirati i sustavno prikazati poslovanje i specifičnosti u računovodstvu Čistoće Split. S obzirom da cijena za obavljene komunalne usluge nije dovoljna za pokriće troškova poslovanja ili nabavu osnovnih sredstava koje služe za obavljanje djelatnosti, komunalna poduzeća preko lokalnih jedinica primaju državne potpore. Način stjecanja i evidentiranja primljene državne potpore je posebna specifičnost u poslovanju, a samim tim, i u računovodstvu poduzeća Čistoća Split, što je u završnom radu prikazano na konkretnom primjeru.
Abstract (english)
Utility companies provide utility services. Given that these services impact wide part of community, scope of this paper is determining specifics of accounting practices in public utility companies. Subject of interest in this thesis is accounting policies of Čistoća Split with main business activity of collection and disposal of communal waste. Through this paper we will analyse business documentation and accounting records of Čistoća Split and systematically present business and accounting practices specifics. Retail price of services provided by Čistoća Split is below break even point and revenues are insufficient to sustain long term feasibility of business. Due to operations that don't create sustainable margins, public utility companies are among entities that receive state aid. Accounting practices of recording received state aid in Čistoća Split books is subject that is documented and researched in this thesis.
