Abstract
Svrha ovog rada je napraviti kritički osvrt na problem nezaposlenosti, koji predstavlja izazov za suvremeni svijet, a čiji je utjecaj nemoguće izbjeći obzirom da je prisutan u svim sferama života. Nakon objašnjenja pojma nezaposlenosti, cilj je bio pojasniti vrste i utjecaje nezaposlenosti te analizirati nezaposlenost u hrvatskome gospodarstvu od 2008. do 2019. Zaključak je da, bez obzira na visoku stopu nezaposlenosti postoji prostor za smanjivanje nezaposlenosti ako se potakne poduzetništvo u gospodarstvu. Primarni cilj bi trebala biti provedba mjera aktivne politike zapošljavanja koja će nuditi potporu poslodavcima i na taj način povećati zaposlenost i očuvanje radnih mjesta. Smanjivanjem nezaposlenosti, Hrvatska bi postala konkurentnija u Europskoj uniji. Također, nužno je osigurati radna mjesta kako bi sustav zdravstva i mirovinskog osiguranja mogao stabilno funkcionirati i kako bi kroz povećanu proizvodnost mogli osigurati veći životni standard. Na kraju, bitno je da se među stanovnicima gradi imidž socijalne sigurnosti i na taj način potaknu mladi ljudi da ostanu i rade u Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper is to make a critical review of the problem of unemployment, which is a challenge for the modern world and whose impact is impossible to avoid since it is present in all spheres of our life. After explaining the concept of unemployment, the aim was to clarify the types and impacts of unemployment and to analyze unemployment in the Croatian economy from 2008 to 2019. The conclusion is that, despite the high unemployment rate, there is room to reduce unemployment if entrepreneurship in the economy is encouraged. The primary goal should be to implement active employment policy measures that will offer support to employers and thus increase employment and job preservation. By reducing unemployment, Croatia would become more competitive in the European Union. It is also necessary to provide jobs so that the health and pension insurance system can function stably and so that through increased productivity they can ensure a higher standard of living. Finally, it is important to build an image of social security among the residents and thus encourage young people to stay and work in Croatia.
