Abstract
Od početka 2020. godine, eskalacija krize COVID-19 u Europi i mjere koje su uvele javne zdravstvene vlasti kako bi ograničile širenje zaraze dovele su do brzog pada ekonomske aktivnosti. Neizvjesnosti su velike su, a rizici se svakodnevno povećavaju. Daljnji štetni učinak na svjetsku trgovinu i hrvatski BDP može se očekivati ako se produži zaključavanje, a mjere ograničavanja trgovine zbog COVID-19 nastave kroz dugo vremensko razdoblje. Tijekom tromjesečne krize 17 tisuća osoba izgubilo je posao, fiskalne transakcije smanjene su za 10 milijardi kuna, turistički sektor gotovo je zaostao, a industrijska proizvodnja pala je za 11% u usporedbi s prošlom 2019. godinom.
Abstract (english)
Since the beginning of 2020, the escalation of the COVID-19 crisis in Europe and measures introduced by public health authorities to limit the spread of the infection have led to a rapid decline in economic activity. Uncertainties are high and risks are increasing on a daily basis. Further detrimental effects on world trade and Croatia's GDP can be expected if the lock is extended and trade restriction measures due to COVID-19 continue for a long period of time. During the three-month crisis, 17,000 people lost their jobs, fiscal transactions fell by 10 billion kuna, the tourism sector almost fell behind, and industrial production fell by 11% compared to last year.
