Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada bio je istraţiti izvore i vrste operativnih rizika, analizirati metode upravljanja operativnim rizicima s fokusom na metode kontrole šteta te istraţiti načine upravljanja operativnim rizicima na primjeru poduzeća X. Istraţivanje je provedeno metodom intervjua koji se obavljen s direktorom poduzeća X, te su identificirani načini na koje se ovo poduzeće suočava, odnosno upravlja operativnim rizikom. Gubici od operativnog rizika u analiziranom poduzeću su u proteklim razdobljima najvećim dijelim generirani iz neodgovarajućih procedura, neodgovarajućih procesa, ljudske greške, greške sustava, nepredviĎenog vanjskog dogaĎaja. Ostale kategorije su u manjem omjeru zastupljene u strukturi prikupljenih gubitaka od operativnog rizika. Stalni nadzor je temelj njihovog unutarnjeg sustava kontrole i prevencije rizika, a način na koji se izvršava kontrola u poduzeću X je putem aplikacije „YZ“ koja se bazira na organizacijskoj shemi poduzeća. Izvještavanje o obavljenim kontrolama ima za cilj da dokaţe da je sama kontrola zaista provedena i da se utvrdi da li postoje odreĎene nepravilnosti u obavljenom poslovanju, odnosno u dnevnim aktivnostima.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this final paper was to investigate the sources and types of operational risks, analyze the methods of operational risk management with a focus on claims control methods and explore ways of managing operational risks on the example of company X. The research was conducted using the method of an interview conducted with the director of company X, and the ways in which this company faces or manages operational risk were identified. Losses from operational risk in the analyzed company in the past periods are mostly generated from inappropriate procedures, inappropriate processes, human errors, system errors, unforeseen external events. Other categories are represented to a lesser extent in the structure of collected losses from operational risk. Continuous supervision is the basis of their internal system of control and risk prevention, and the way in which control is performed in company X is through the application "YZ", which is based on the organizational chart of the company. Reporting on performed controls aims to prove that the control itself was actually carried out and to determine whether there are certain irregularities in the performed business, ie in daily activities.
