Abstract
U ovom radu analizirani su mirovinski fondovi kao potencijalni ulagači u infrastrukturu. Mirovinski fondovi raspolažu s velikom količinom sredstava koje tradicionalno ulažu u projekte niskog rizika sa sigurnim prinosima. Infrastruktura s druge strane u 21. stoljeće traži ulaganja koja države ne mogu osigurati pa se stvara infrastrukturni jaz. Ulaganje u infrastrukturu nije visokog rizika, a ima sigurna primanja što je čini idealnim kandidatom za ulaganje mirovinskim fondovima. Upravo zbog toga, ova mogućnost je izgledno jako dobro rješenje situacije u kojoj su se našli svi spomenuti akteri odnosno, mirovinski fondovi koji traže alternativne načine ulaganja, infrastruktura kojoj hitno trebaju ulaganja te država koja može svoja sredstva, koja bi inače uložila u infrastrukturne projekte, uložiti u neke druge projekte koji su potrebni za razvoj gospodarstva. Mirovinski fondovi u Republici Hrvatskoj raspolažu sa oko 120 mlrd. kuna, a njihovo ulaganje u gospodarstvo bi bilo od značajne pomoći. Republika Hrvatska mora stvarati nove infrastrukturne projekte u koje mirovinski fondovi mogu ulagati, te napraviti sve da olakša to isto ulaganje.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, pension funds as potential investors in infrastructure are being analyzed. Pension funds have a large amount of funds that they traditionally invest in low-risk projects with safe returns. Infrastructure, on the other hand, in the 21st century requires investments that goverments cannot provide, so an infrastructure gap is created. Investing in infrastructure is not high risk, and has a secure income which makes it an ideal candidate for investing in pension funds. Precisely because of that, this possibility is probably a very good solution to the situation in which all the mentioned actors found themselves, ie pension funds looking for alternative ways of investing, infrastructure that urgently needs investments and a goverment that can invest its funds, which would otherwise invest in infrastructure projects, in some other projects needed for economic development. Pension funds in the Republic of Croatia have about 120 billion HRK at their disposal, and their investment in the economy would be of significant help. The Republic of Croatia must create new infrastructure projects in which pension funds can invest, and do everything to make that same investment possible.
