Abstract
Za gospodarstvo svake zemlje, pa tako i Republike Hrvatske, inozemna izravna ulaganja zauzimaju važno mjesto jer se priljev inozemnih sredstava ima pozitivan utjecaj na bilancu plaćanja, samnjenje nezaposlenosti, prijenos novih znanja i tehnologija i sl. Kroz rad su istraženi motivi primatelja i ulagača, ograničavajući čimbenici s kojima se ulagaći susreću te je utvrđena važnost FDI-a za hrvatski turizam i gospodarstvo. Osnovni cilj ovoga rada je istražiti kakav utjecaj imaju odabrane determinante na inozemna izravna ulaganja u hrvatski turizam za promatrano razdoblje od 2000. do 2019. godine. Kroz teorijski dio rada cilj je bio objasniti podlogu inozemnih izravnih ulaganja, dok se u empirijskom dijelu utvrdila njihova povezanost sa odabranim varijablama.
Abstract (english)
For the economy of each country, including the Republic of Croatia, foreign direct investment occupies an important place because the inflow of foreign funds has a positive impact on the balance of payments, reducing unemployment, transfer of new knowledge and technology, etc. The motives of recipients and investors factors that investors face and the importance of FDI for Croatian tourism and economy has been determined. The main goal of this paper is to investigate the impact of the chosen determinants on foreign direct investment in Croatian tourism for the observed period from 2000.-2019. Through the theoretical part of the paper, the aim was to explain the bases of foreign direct investment, while in the empirical part their connection with the selected variables was determined.
