Abstract
Nezaposlenost je ključni egzistencijalni problem svakog pojedinca. Zabrinjavajući je porast nezaposlenosti mladih, pogotovo osoba koje pripadaju NEET populaciji odnosno osoba koje se ne obrazuju, nisu zaposlene niti se osposobljavaju. Nužno je da se potiče zapošljavanje istih, ali i poticanje drugih koji imaju veće obrazovanje da ostanu raditi u Hrvatskoj jer u Hrvatskoj zadnjih nekoliko godina postoji negativni trend iseljavanja mladih poznatiji kao „odljev mozgova“. U Hrvatskoj su u sklopu Europskog socijalnog fonda planirane mjere i sredstva kako bi se smanjio njihov udio. U radu se prikazuju konkretne brojke kroz određeno razdoblje te kakav je utjecaj imala svjetska kriza od 2008. i pandemija Covid-19. Jasno je da postoji neusklađenost tržišta rada i obrazovnog sustava, također je i problem nepreciznog podatke broja NEET osoba jer su prikazane samo one koje se nalaze odnosno koje su prijavljene na HZZ-u. Politički prioritet mora biti smanjenje njihove nezaposlenosti uz korištenje pravih mjera i politika jer su mladi budućnost svake zemlje.
Abstract (english)
Unemployment is existential problem of every individual. Worrying is the increase in youth unemployment, especially people who belong to the NEET population, people who are not getting an education, are not employed or trained. It is necessary to encourage their employment, but also to encourage others who have higher education to stay and work in Croatia, because in the last few years there has been a negative trend of young people emigrating in Croatia, known as „brain drain“. In Croatia, as a part of the European Social Fund, measures and funds are planned to reduce their share. The paper presents specific figures over a certain period of the impact in global crisis 2008 and the Covid-19 pandemic. It is clear that there is a mismatch between the labor market and the education system, and there is also the problem of imprecise data on the number of NEET persons, as only those who are present or registered at the CES (Croatian Employment Service) are shown. The political priority must be to reduce their unemployment with the use of the right measures and policies because young people are the future of every country.
