Abstract
Porezni nameti oduvijek su percipirani negativno od strane poreznih obveznika, a posebno je to slučaj kada se radi o oporezivanju imovine. Hrvatska unutar svog poreznog sustava ima određene oblike poreza na imovinu, međutim porez na vlasništvo nekretnina još nije zaživio, većinski zbog otpora javnosti. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati kako građana Republike Hrvatske trenutno percipiraju uvođenje takvog oblika poreza. Anketni upitnik, koji je korišten kao instrument istraživanja, pokazao je kako građani i dalje imaju negativan stav o uvođenju navedenog poreznog oblika, neovisno o tome kolikim dohotkom raspolažu i žive li u vlastitoj nekretnini ili najmu. S druge strane, uočeno je kako građani uviđaju i postojanje određenih pozitivnih utjecaja ovog poreza na tržište nekretnina, kao na primjer pada njihovih cijena koje su na vrlo visokim razinama duži niz godina.
Abstract (english)
Tax levies have always been perceived negatively by taxpayers, and this is especially the case when it comes to property taxation. Within its tax system, Croatia has certain forms of property taxes; however, the tax on property ownership has yet to take off, primarily due to public resistance. This paper aims to show how the citizens of the Republic of Croatia currently perceive the introduction of such a form of tax. The survey, which was used as a research instrument, showed that citizens still have a negative attitude towards introducing the mentioned tax form, regardless of their income and whether they live on their property or rent. On the other hand, it has been observed that citizens perceive specific positive effects of this tax on the real estate market, such as the drop in their prices, which have been at very high levels for several years.
