Abstract
Hercegovačko-neretvanska županija je područje iznimne turističke atraktivnosti. Njezina prepoznatljiva obilježja su kulturno-povijesno nasljeđe, vjerski turizam, očuvana priroda te tradicionalne vrijednosti. Područje županije obiluje raznolikim i izuzetno atraktivnim turističkim sadržajima, koji su ujedno potencijal za daljnji razvoj turizma. Primarne turističke destinacije županije su Mostar, Međugorje i Neum, dok su neke od najznačajnijih sekundarnih destinacija Hutovo Blato, Počitelj, Park prirode Blidinje, Čapljina, i pećina Vjetrenica. Turistička ponuda je bogata, ali nedovoljno iskorištena, dok ujedno naspram drugih županija, Hercegovačko - neretvanska bilježi značajan turistički promet. Detaljnom analizom prirodnih i kulturnih resursa, infrastrukture, zemljopisnih obilježja, kao i postojećih i potencijalnih turističkih destinacija u Hercegovačko - neretvanskoj županiji, u radu će se prikazati trenutno stanje turizma, kao i mogućnosti za njegov daljnji razvoj.
Abstract (english)
Herzegovina-Neretva county is an area of exceptional tourist attraction. Its distinctive features are its cultural and historical heritage, religious tourism, preserved nature and traditional values. The area of the county abounds in diverse and extremely attractive tourist facilities, which are also a potential for further development of tourism. The primary tourist destinations of the county are Mostar, Međugorje and Neum, while some of the most significant secondary destinations are Hutovo Blato, Počitelj, Blidinje Nature Park, Čapljina, and the Vjetrenica cave. The tourist supply is rich, but insufficiently used, while at the same time compared to other counties, Herzegovina - Neretva registers significant tourist traffic. Through a detailed analysis of natural and cultural resources, infrastructure, geographical features, as well as existing and potential tourist destinations in Herzegovina-Neretva County, the paper will present the current state of tourism, as well as the possibilities for its further development.
